First ray of the sun witnessed the sprightly summer workshops at B.V.M Udham Singh Nagar, commencing with exalted fitness activity of Yoga & Meditation under the azure sky followed by prompt and magnanimous participation of 650 students in Model making, Power point presentation, Investigatory Projects , Dances- Classical , Western , Folk , Music – Instrumental and Vocal ,Cookery , Art& Craft, Vedic Maths, Mehandi Art , Spoken English & Personality Development, Martial Arts and Sports .
An enlightening seminar on a tender but intricate theme ‘Art of Parenting’ was organized under the able aegis of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Trust, Udham Singh Nagar in the school campus in which the resource persons Dr. Sarita Saini and Dr. Deepika Vig, Associate Proffesors of Dept. of Human Development, PAU Ldh and Dr. H.S. Bains, Head Pediatrics Department , Dr. Shivani,MD, DMCH focused on sensitizing issues - ‘Causes of Parent Child Conflicts’ , ‘Parental role in raising Self Esteem in Children’ and ‘Parenting of Teenagers’ in a very effective and lucid manner.
Apart from it, an educational workshop was also sponsored by the B.V.M Trust to equip the teachers with latest & novel teaching techniques. Resource person Ms. Mohini Ghosh from Cordova publications elucidated primarily on the topics ‘Teaching pedagogy, professional and personality devolvement’ and ‘Effective use of books in the class-room’. Teachers actively participated , interacted and benefited from this workshop. The School Manager Sh.O.P Sabarwal Ji and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi extended their thanks to Ms. Ghosh for this distinctive workshop.
